Oda Day 86-93

Day 86
Well meet an interesting fellow today. He goes by the name Jacob. He claims he has heard things about our group and would like to help us. Alcander felt we should test his skills, against me, before we allowed him to join us. He proceeded to fly up into air and use magic to attack me. IT was an interesting and calculated attack which I was not prepared for. He seemed to not hold back which I can respect, but if I knew going in that it was going to be a fight versus a sparing match I would have done things different. I guess it is my own fault. As a warrior I should be prepared for anything and be able to adapt. I will not let this happen to me again I am better then this.

Day 90
Well the past few days of traveling have been uneventful, except for last night. We fought some very powerful lizard creatures. We were able to defeat a couple of them, but who the battle might have gone differently if most of them had not left early in the fight. I am pleased to see that the practice with my bow has paid off, but it is still evident that my true skills lye with my katana.

Day 92
I had an odd dream last night. It was a vision of the future of a battle against a very strong foe. I will need to train a lot harder if I am to be prepared for it.

Day 93
We have reached the town which is closest to the temple. I am pleased to see that the people finally are treating me and my comrades with the respect we have earned. Well back to events what we have done today. We went and checked out the tomb. I am pleased to see it has not been disturbed. We were also to get more incite about the tomb from Jacob. He was able to read and translate the writings on the wall. Well anyway going to call it a night. Soon we will be headed off to the temple to rid the evil that lives there.
