Journal of Sztuczka: Day 92

The sky of evening
When the gnats begin to mourn—
How lovely it all is!

We have had an interesting past few days! In Izmir, I met a man named Jacob who has heard of our group and wants to help us! I at least introduced him to the group. They agreed on a trial basis (and because an extra fighting hand would be, erm, handy?) to let him come along back to the valley.

I am getting extremely anxious! When I first went into the valley in search of music, it was an exciting place! And then we met that thing who keeps her soul in the crystal. And I am not to eager to go back now. But I cannot abandon them! And I want to see what happens. Maybe once I get more ink and a fresh book, I will start composing the Paladin's Tale! Ok, so the title needs a bit more work. But you know.

Hail warriors!
Fighting brave and true
Fighting the good fight,
With honor and virtue!

I suppose that is not too bad a start. I think I may be on to something. Then again, it could be pure rubbish. I will have to wait for it to be finished, I suppose.

Oh and guess what! Another vision from the Gods! Stone Keep under seige. A serpent like shape rising out of the waters. Lots of people standing to fight. And I really am still not comfortable with these visions. I think, since I have had them too, that it at least means that with this group is where I am supposed to be right now.

Oh! And the night before that, Tupper and Alcander were on watch and next thing I know we are being woken up to fight these lizard people, because of course, the evil one had to approach Alcander, not one that was not evil! We almost lost Tupper and Alcander got it pretty good. In the end, as always, we succeeded though.
