Day 93: Pelor came to me in a dream! Of course Arcadius was there as well. Pelor himself told us that for the time being, Jacob can be trusted. And the music! It was unlike anything I have ever heard before! Sweet, hopeful, yet sad. As of yet, I am not sure how to proceed. Arcadius has suggested opening myself to Pelor. I might take that advice. I just have not decided yet. This is definitely going to take a lot of pondering!
I am nervous for what lies ahead. I know that I will be inspiring courage along the way, but I've never seen a battle as big as it seems the looming one will be. Mayhap I should see if I can acquire something better than my dagger, and have Alcander or Oda teach me a bit of fighting. But if I am fighting I cannot inspire courage! This is a conundrum indeed!
Day 108: Amidst all the lack of anything to do lately, I have managed to forget to update again. I seem to do that a lot!
We returned to the valley. We managed to destroy the crystal, but not the current incarnation of the spirit that used it. It was a great battle. We almost lost Alcander and Oda, two very fine warriors. They are mesmerizing to watch in battle. Arcadius is the one that shattered the stone though. It was brilliant!
I have a song in mind. Alas, I cannot seem to find the right tune. Though, the words also need some work. It took me a great long time to get it to where it is even to begin with. I dare say, it will take even longer to get it to the point where it is ready to be shared. You cannot rush greatness!
We have started moving North. Our route will take us to a place not too far from my home. If I survive this, I think I shall go visit my parents. They are travelling less and less since Babcia passed away and it would be a good opportunity to see them!
We came across a soldier (though Arcadius doubts his authenticity and motives) headed back to Izmir. Not long after that, we came across a town that has seemingly been attacked by dragons! Dragons!
The closer we get to Stone Keep, the less I find I am liking being in a true epic. I will not run because I have pledged any aid I can offer to this fight. I will, however, pray and hope that my companions and I live to see many more sunrises, full moons, pleasant rainstorms and springtimes.
