Prayer for the Damned

(This isn't so much in a journal as getting prayed. loudly, ever night. For those of you who are also praying for Tupper, you've probably learned this, too.)

Oh, Heracles, here the prayer of your humble servant.
Hear it on behalf of those you have called, who ignore your word.
Hear it on behalf of the godless, the lost, and the damned.
I pray not in my own name, but in the name of one who needs your light.
I beg for your intercession, in the name of Walter Tupper.
Help to bring him to your presence.
Let him find no sleep, until he sleeps in your glory.
Let him find no sustenance, until he eats of your righteousness.
Let no water quench his thirst, but that he drinks of your truth.
Aid me in bringing him to you, though it should cost his life and my own.
