Gods that was too easy!
Ever since I received that vision from which ever God it was--(darn them not identifying themselves!--I have been no-stop on the go! So, I got a trip back from Sigil, and though I ended up near my home, I didn't have time to waste. That was one heck of a vision! I haven't even had time to document it!
All I knew was: There was some evil pirate dude, who was going to double cross the Paladins. I used what little geographical information I could to enlist a group of gnomes and their submarine! It's amazing what you can do when you're a bard!
We found the ship, eventually... After a few smoking engines and things making noises the Captain claimed was normal...
We worked out a plan. We were just going to kidnap him. I mean, really, I could have used my little magic to try and get him out of the way, but where's the fun in that, I ask you?
So I took my swim gear and made like a fishy from the submarine. The other Gnomes stayed underwater out of site with a new contraption they planned to use for fishing. They were gonna test it out on the Pirate.
I surfaced. I started singing... and I tell ya, it was way too easy. I had no problem convincing him that I was a mermaid and that he should join me for a swim. Seriously?! How much brains does a guy have to NOT HAVE to fall for that? Pah!
Anyways, so once in the water, the gnomes wrapped him in their new shiny net. The air breathing contraption worked great! The net, however, kinda sorta electrocuted him... The Gnomes didn't mind. They took his body to examine and see where the net went wrong.
He's more out of the way than I originally planned... but he won't hurt the Paladins now!
And hopefully they never find out what truly happened, or I may be in big trouble with them too!
