When I was little, my babcia always said to me, "Ink, if not used, will dry up." She always told me that whenever I stubbornly would not practice or shied away from a tougher piece of music. I never really understood what she was telling me, but now I believe I do. I must keep practicing my talents to keep them strong.
On the road with the group, I still get to play my violin and sing... but I do not get to work on many of my other talents. I have spells and flash and shiny things that are just too much for the taverns and inns we stay at. My showmanship skills are on a downhill slope!
Adventuring is swell, but I need to get back to wandering where the wind takes me. Or back home. I miss Ma and Da. This time of year, they are probably in the Steppes. I could have a lot of fun travelling there from here.
My feet are telling me it will soon be time to leave on an adventure of my own.
Babcia, I miss you. Your violin is safe with me.
